Through our vision of ending homelessness, cruelty, impulse buying and unwarranted euthanasia, Hope4Paws Animal Rescue Inc is committed to protecting your personal information while ensuring the safety and suitable placement of animals in our care. Hope4Paws Animal Rescue Inc will collect your personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our products and services to you, to ensure the safety of our volunteers, foster carers, and the animals in our care. Information we collect:

  • Name, Phone and Facsimile numbers, Date of Birth, Addresses, Email Addresses.
  • Profession, Occupation, or job title.
  • If you apply to become a volunteer or foster carer, information about your educational and employment background, a police check, medical assessments, and a working with children check.
  • Details of products or services you may have purchased from us or any additional information necessary to respond to your enquiries.
  • Information you provide to us such as complaints or suggestions, volunteer, foster carer, donation, or fundraising information including through our website and our social media pages.
  • Social Media pages (Facebook username, Instagram username, LinkedIn username)
  • Information required in order to facilitate online purchasing of products and services from our website.
HOW PERSONAL INFORMATION IS COLLECTED

Hope4Paws Animal Rescue Inc will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information so that we can perform our animal welfare, educational and fundraising functions and to provide the best possible quality of support and customer service. This will be completed through interactions with you and may include communicating in person, by phone, email, mail, website, and social media platforms.

  • Interacting with you and maintenance of your details.
  • Rescuing an animal and placing into foster care.
  • Facilitating animal adoption and foster carers.
  • Providing Veterinary and grooming services.
  • Operating palliative care programs for senior or sick dogs.
  • Accepting product donations such as beds, towels, blankets.
  • Processing Payments and refunds.
  • Fundraising and developing while maintaining relationships with potential donors and supporters.

  • Assessing applications for foster carers and volunteers.

  • Conducting quality assurance.
  • Act in Accordance with our Health and Safety Guidelines and Risk Management policies.

  • Our professional advisors including lawyers, accountants, auditors, IT specialists and business advisors.
  • Your references if you have applied to become a volunteer.
  • Our financial institution and debt collection agencies.
  • We may also store, process or back up your personal information on servers that are located overseas. Given the nature of how data is stored, either in the “cloud” or on third party servers located in multiple sites, it is not possible for us to advise you of the countries where your personal information may be stored.

If you wish to gain access to the information that we hold about you, please contact our Directors on the details provided at the end of this policy. We may charge you a fee for providing you with access to your personal information.

We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we collect, hold and use is accurate, up-to-date, and complete.
